At the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021, Regina was a member of the boat that placed fourth in the women’s eight, a position that she duplicated at the following year’s world championships. One year later, however, in 2023, she made it on to the podium at those championships when the US boat claimed silver medals. Regina is no stranger to the medal ranks, having won gold medals in the four and the eight at the 2016 world under-23 championships.
While rowing at the University of Pennsylvania, Regina was named to the 2018 All-Ivy League First Team, in addition to being recognized as 2017 and 2018 Scholar Athlete Award winner for maintaining above a 3.5 GPA and participating in more than 75% of varsity races. She also earned honors for her thesis in creative writing and served as editor-in-chief of a feminist literary magazine on campus.
