Kelsey began rowing in 2005 in New Zealand where her sister, Erin, was a multiple-time national champion. Just three years later, she contested the world junior championships in Linz, Austria contesting the quad sculls and has continued an upward trajectory ever since.
At the most recent world championships, in 2023, she was a member of the US boat that placed fourth in the women’s four. One year previously, she had also placed fourth, that time in the eight. Paris, her first Olympics, may be the occasion on which she makes the podium.
