Paris will be Chris’ first Olympics. His career highlights include a sixth-place finish in the men’s eight at the 2023 World Rowing Championships and being a member of five national teams (Under 23: 2017-2019; Senior: 2022-2023).
His fine 2024 form is indicated by his second place finish in the eight at the World Rowing Cup III and his victory (also in the eight) at the World Rowing Final Olympic & Paralympic Qualification Regatta.
Having first enrolled at Marist College in the rowing mecca of Poughkeepsie, NY, but transferred after a year to the University of Washington. “I wanted to be surrounded by the best,” he explained.”
